Pancrase 301 has been announced for 25 November in Tokyo, Japan. Today, the cooperation with all-female promoter Invicta FC has yielded Mallory Martin to compete against Ayaka Miura.
Miura is the Pancrase number one-ranked female strawweight. Since 2014 she’s gone 6-2 with four submission finishes, becoming known for her scarf hold armlock. The 28-year old is touching the top ten rankings in all Japan.
Martin is now 4-2 on top of a successful amateur record. She’s coming over representing Invicta FC. Martin has also fought in Kunlun, where she defeated Chinese prospect Lin Heqin, and Legacy Fighting Alliance.
In Tapology’s rankings, these two women are number 55 and 51 respectively in the world women’s strawweight rankings. Miura will be representing Tribe Tokyo MMA under Ryo Chonan, and Martin is hailing from Tiger Muay Thai under George Hickman. The match up is very even between two well-rounded fighters heavy on the jiujitsu.
