A handful of new bouts have been announced to ONE: Enter the Dragon, set for 17 May at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

In the main event, newly-crowned lightweight champion Shinya Aoki will defend his title against rising star Christian “The Warrior” Lee.

At ONE: A NEW ERA, Aoki defeated Eduard “Landslide” Folayang to regain the lightweight title. He is now set for a quick return to face Christian Lee.

In his last bout, Lee defeated Team Lakay veteran Edward Kelly via first-round technical knockout. He now moves up to lightweight to challenge Aoki for the title.

In the co-main event, Dutch kickboxing star Nieky “The Natural” Holzken will take on countryman Regian Eersel for the inaugural lightweight kickboxing title.

A sensational striker, Holzken’s entertaining style has already seen him secure almost 50 knockouts in kickboxing and an additional 11 in the boxing ring.

Nieky Holzken gets a shot at ONE Championship gold.

Eersel, meanwhile, represents the famed Sityodtong Amsterdam Muay Thai camp and has made a name for himself as a Lion Fight super middleweight champion.

Featherweights collide

The eight-man ONE Super Series Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix will also get underway in Singapore.

Lumpinee champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy of Thailand draws Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan in the first round, while Smokin’ Jo Nattawut of Thailand faces K-1 World Max champion Andy “Souwer Power” Souwer of Amsterdam.

In the other bracket, Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex takes on Samy Sana of France, while Dzhabar Askerov of Russia takes on former K-1 veteran Enriko Kehl.

Tonon gets a tough test in Singapore.

Former ONE champions Alex Silva and Yoshitaka Naito will meet head-on inside the ring for the third time, while grappling ace Garry Tonon makes a quick turnaround to face Yoshiki Nakahara.

Tonon has won all four of his bouts with ONE, but will be stepping up to when he meets Panccrase veteran Nakahara.

Yamaguchi returns

Former title challenger Mei “V.V” Yamaguchi will also make a quick return to take on China’s Meng Bo. Yamaguchi is a veteran of the women’s MMA in Asia and now welcomes Meng Bo to ONE Championship.

Singapore’s Rahul “The Kerala Krusher” Raju takes on the Philippines’ Richard “Notorious” Corminal in an exciting preliminary contest.

As previously announced former UFC star Sage Northcutt will make his ONE debut in Singapore against Cosmo “Good Boy” Alexandre.

The semi-final round of the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix will also see Ariel “Tarzan” Sexton go head-to-head with Turkish sensation Saygid “Dagi”.
