After three fights with PFL, Jumabieke Tuerxun is heading back to Kunlun to face an old rival in Yao Honggang.
Jumabieke (20-9-1) meets Yao for a third time this Saturday in the main event of Kunlun: War of Kings and the 33-year-old will be hunting for a win.
The last 12 months were not great for Jumabieke. The former UFC fighter lost all three of his PFL bouts and dropped a decision to Boris Fedorov in Russia.
War of Kings is a cross-promoted event between Kunlun Fight and Chinese promotion Bullet Fly FC. The fight takes place inside a theme park on the outskirts of Beijing.
“The Master” Yao (22-7-1) has fought once already this year, picking up a first round TKO win at WLF WARS in Henan in January. The 37-year-old has faced and lost to Jumabieke twice in his career, the last being at Legend FC in 2012.
The rest of the nine-fight card is mixed bag, with the likes of Jianwei He (0-7), Yang Fei (2-4) and IMMAF amateur fighter Tanghesi stepping up to the plate.
After two unsuccessful outings with ONE Championship, Ma Xudong returns to meet local fighter Zhu Xishuai.
