ONE Championship has postponed two of its upcoming events.

The news was announced by ONE chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong via Facebook.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues its worrying spread, Singapore announced a partial lockdown, forcing ONE to put its plans on hold for now.

This means ONE: Hope and ONE: Strength – both set to take place in Singapore this month – will take place at a later date.

“We are living through the most extraordinary of times,” Sityodtong said.

“The most important thing that we can do as individuals is to follow the strict orders of our respective governments and to practice social distancing, good hygiene, and telecommuting. The virus cannot spread if we all stay at home.

“Unfortunately, ONE Championship will have to postpone its closed-door, audience-free events for April due to new COVID-19 restrictions.”
