Zebaztian Kadestam headlines ONE: Dawn of Valor this Friday for his second welterweight title defense against a surging Kiamrian Abbasov.

It will be a sweet return to Indonesia for “The Bandit” who won the welterweight strap in Jakarta almost a year ago, with a spectacular knockout of America’s Tyler McGuire.

He’ll be up against former Prime Selection welterweight champion Kiamrian Abbasov, who brings three back-to-back wins into the main event.

Kadestam (12-4) said he has never felt better.

“I have worked extremely hard to be where I am today, with this ONE welterweight world title wrapped around my waist. I fully intend on keeping it that way,” he said during yesterday’s open workouts.

Abbasov (21-4) will make the walk for the third time with ONE and is coming off an impressive second round win over Yushin Okami.

“This is a great opportunity for me,” Abbasov said.

“I am coming for that belt with everything that I have. I’m prepared to go the full five rounds, but make no mistake about it, I will be looking for the finish.”

On the preliminary card, Priscilla Gaol will face Myanmar’s Bozhena Antoniyar, while wrestling sensation Eko Roni Saputra looks for his first win against Philippines prospect Kaji Ebin.

All the action goes down this Friday, 25 October, at the Istora Senayan. The preliminary card gets underway from 5:30PM local time.
