Keita Nakamura has been lined up to face fellow UFC welterweight Sultan Aliev at UFC on ESPN+ 7 in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Nakamura (34-9-2) returns to competition after defeating Salim Touahri via a tight split decision at UFC Fight Night 142 in Adelaide last year.
The Japanese veteran will be looking for a much need back-to-back win, having a win-loss record going back to 2016.
Aliev (14-3) has not seen success inside the Octagon since 2016, where he picked up a split decision win over Bojan Velickovic. He has since had a number of fights scratched and last May was on the receiving end of a nasty doctors stoppage.
UFC on ESPN+ 7 will go down on 21 April (Asia time) in St. Petersburg, Russia, where recently signed Top FC featherweight champion Choi Seung-Woo will make his UFC debut.
Heavyweight sluggers Alexander Volkov (30-7) and Alistair Overeem (44-17) are set to meet in the main event.
