ONE Championship has unveiled a new mobile app that offers full access to all of its live events, as well as an existing library of digital content, for free.

Available on Android and iOS mobile platforms, the app was officially launched in Singapore on Friday under a new partnership with telco giant Singtel.

The app will not have geographic restrictions, meaning you can watch it pretty much anywhere in the world. One new feature is an in-depth look and statistical breakdown of ONE Championship athletes.

If you’re in Singapore and a Singtel subscriber, you will also get access to perks like exclusive or early access to content, ticket discounts and invites to VIP events.

The launch is part of a wave of new initiatives ONE Championship has launched in 2018. Last month saw the launch of two new formats in ONE Super Series and the talent scouting initiative ONE Warrior Series.

The Singtel Group and ONE Championship said the partnership will also include Singtel’s mobile wallets and e-commerce functions. Both companies will also consider jointly producing original content.

“Content, particularly premium sports content, delivered over our advanced network is one of the key pillars of our consumer strategy,” said Arthur Lang, CEO of International Group at Singtel.

“Sports content is a big winner with our consumers, with millennials comprising a large part of our customer base.”

ONE Championship returns to action next weekend with ONE: Grit and Glory at the Jakarta Convention Center in Indonesia. One of its biggest events of 2018 then lands in Singapore on 18 May for ONE: Unstoppable Dreams where Angela Lee defends her atomweight title against Japan’s Mei Yamaguchi.
