Aliakbari vs Chul-lee-1-2
Aliakbari wins after just 17 seconds
Aliakbari vs Chul-lee-1-3
A great start to a promising MMA career
Aliakbari vs Chul-lee-1
Lee never really got started, bundled to the canvas and a barrage of blows from the Iranian heavyweight left the referee with no option but to stop the fight
Gayman vs Do Meng-2
Filipino Jhaymie Gayman wins in his MMA pro debut against a tough Cambodian Do Meng
Gayman vs Do Meng
Gayman dominated the fight from the off and wasted no time in getting Meng to the floor, eventually pulling him into a rear naked choke after 3.35 in Round 1
hisyam vs Yut-1-2
Fight of the night, Malaysian Hisyam Sams ( in red shorts) proved himself to be a tough customer despite the obvious lack in depth of experience with Yut being a 200+ fight Muay Thai fighter of note. Sams too some serious knees and at least 2 soccer kicks to the head but still came back for more.
hisyam vs Yut-1
Weerayuth Pinyopon (Yut) makes his 2nd MMA pro fight after a loss to Caleb Lally in 2014 and made his vast Muay Thai experience count
hisyam vs Yut-1-3
Yut made Sams take it all the way but got the result he wanted with a unanimous decision after 3 rounds
Jennarong vs Fairtex-1
Yodkaikaew Fairtex from Thailand made short work of of his fellow countryman Jennarong Cherdsook, with a devastating knee to the solar plexus at 2.47 in round 1. This was Yods second MMA fight after his disqualification in Full Metal Dojo 5 earlier this year and he was keen to prove a point.
Jennarong vs Fairtex-1-2
This was Jennarong’s pro debut at bantamweight, but he has a strong amateur record and I’m sure we will see more of this guy.
Ness vs Tanabadee (1 of 1)
Tanabadee “ninjaman” Supparukephasakun is no stranger to the FMD ring with this, his 3rd appearance at the event in 2 years. His opponent Sarayut “Ness” Kurubvong was making his 2nd appearance but the win again eludes him as he was armbarred at 2.39 of Round 2. Ness had gained the advantage several times with some good groundwork but Ninjaman is a wrestler at heart and managed to escape everything that Ness through at him, finishing him off with some clever ground work.
Ness vs Tanabadee (1 of 1)-2
Tanabadee is a key part of the Thai wrestling scene and this win puts him a 2 win streak with 2016 looking like a pivotal year for this highly rated prospect
Sanati vs Jiriwat-1
Ricardo Sanati wasted no time with a solid win over feather weight Jirwat Iamsamang from Thailand with a Rear Naked Choke after just 1.28 in round 1. The California native was fighting out of Bangkok Fightlab and this was his pro MMA debut
Sanati vs Jiriwat-1-2
Jirwat was also making his Pro Debut at FMD but his 2 previous amateur fights here have yet to provide a win for this young Thai
Thai rithy vs Jartim-1
Cambodian featherweight Thai Rithy recorded his 1st loss in 2 years despite a dominant performance against the highly rated Czech, Jaroslav Jartim, who was making his FMD debut. Rithy started well and had Jartim on the deck several times with accurate take downs but the Czech defended well and kept himself in the game. However after 1.25 in Round 1, Rithy found himself caught in an armbar and tapped out, leaving Jartim with the win
Thai rithy vs Jartim-1-2
Rithy was angry with himself having being caught out but vowed to make a return to FMD soon and would love to have a return match against this fighter
With both fighters making their FMD debut at flyweight, Wirrat Fairtex and Tewadet Tangjan (Black shorts) had a lot to offer and didn’t disappoint with a no hold barred display. Leaving nothing in the cage, they both had sterling performances but Wirrat had a the edge with a better display of ground technique, keeping the pressure on Tangjan with solid punches. After 4.39 in Round 2 however, the ref had to stop the fight as Tangjan had an eye injury which despite great work by the medical team, couldn’t get him back in the fight and the ref called it in favour of Wirrat
Pretty sure we will see more of these young guys in the future.
wehbe vs Nikolai-1
Lightweigh Yousef Wehbe drew himself a pretty tough opponent in Russian Nikolai Kozyrev but this win takes the Lebanese fighter up to 2-2 and could prove pivotal in his career in 2016
wehbe vs Nikolai-1-2
Taking the bout all the way to the 3rd round, both fighters exchanged some brutal blows and Wehbe looked to have caught a superb right hook from Nikolai on the chin which rocked him but he came back from it well. After 3 Rounds, all the judges called for a win for Wehbe.
wisava vs piak-1-3
Another convincing win for Pongsiri Mitsatit puts him on a 6-0-0 record and surely the bigger leagues beckon for this very promising young Thai. A very dominant display against a debutant Wisava Kaweewarakorn at strawweight had him winning the fight at 2.03 of Round 1 with a barrage of punches led to referee Olivier Coste awarding an easy victory to Piak.
wisava vs piak-1-2
This is his 3rd MMA victory this year by TKO but as he still fights Muay Thai at least once a month and with some excellent coaching from Team Quest in Chiang Mai, this guy can go all the way
