New bouts confirmed for ONE: Immortal Triumph in Vietnam

Bi Nguyen makes her Muay Thai debut with ONE in Vietnam.

ONE Championship’s first live event in Vietnam is set for the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium on 6 September. More than a dozen additional fights have been added to lineup – all which will feature ONE Super Series bouts.

That decision is driven by Vietnam’s long-standing ban on MMA, which has seen the likes of Hong Kong’s JUST MMA dump plans to host events in Vietnam.

In the main event of ONE: Immortal Triumph, bantamweight Muay Thai champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao will defend his title against Brice Delval of France.

Nong-O has captured nearly every accolade in Muay Thai. He made his first appearance at the famed Rajadamnern Stadium when he was just a teenager and won. That set off an incredible run of success.

Since joining the ONE Super Series, Nong-O has dominated. In February, he captured the inaugural bantamweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Han Zi Hao. He then successfully defended the belt in his next bout against Hiroaki Suzuki.

Also set to see action is women’s atomweight star Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen who meets India’s Puja Tomar in a Muay Thai fight.
