ONE FC has followed up its announcement with a Dubai show on August 29, 2014 with naming 3 of 4 title fights to take place on the card. Champions Nobutatsu Suzuki, Shinya Aoki and Koji Oishi will preside.

The first of which is reigning Welterweight Champion Nobutatsu Suzuki challenged by Ben Askren. Suzuki famously KOed Phil Baroni in his ankle-braking fight. He then went on as the underdog to claim the inaugural title in a match with Brock Larson.

While being the current Champion, he again comes in as an underdog against world-ranked Askren. The Olympic wrestler showed off his strengths in his first ONE FC appearance in May with a first round submission over Bakhtiyar Abbasov.

While not announced on this release, Lightweight Champion Shinya Aoki will meet Kamal Shalorus, which MMA-in-ASIA originally broke yesterday. Aoki has held the title for a year since submitting former Champions Kotetsu Boku. Since then, he has fought once at featherweight in ONE FC and once in IGF.

Shalorus, a former WEC and UFC vet, is 2-0 in ONE FC. His wins are over Eduard Folayang and Ariel Sexton, both 3-round grinders where he turned on the power to edge the decision.

Featherweight Champion Koji Oishi is the third on the list of belt holders to grace the event. He gained and retained his title by knocking out former Champion Honorio Banario. The King of Pancrase has a huge supply of weapons in his arsenal. While no opponent has been announced, top featherweights to look at for a match up include Bae Yong Kwon, Ev Ting, Narantungalag Jadambaa, and possibly the newly-signed Hanzo Tanaka.
