One Fighting Championship has been extending their parameter across Asia this year by successfully staging their first-ever events in Taiwan last July and Dubai in the previous month.  Now they are set to put on another ground breaking event in Cambodia on September 12, 2014 for One FC 20 – Rise of the Kingdom.

One FC 20 will be headlined by an inaugural Flyweight Championship contest between highly a regarded Brazilian fighter and one of Philippines’ best 125 pounders as Adriano Moraes goes head-to-head with Geje Eustaquio for the title.

Moraes arguably has the best jiu jitsu in the One FC flyweight division today. Though he lost his One FC debut last year against Yusup Saadulaev, the massive Brazilian 125 pounder came back with decisive submission wins over two world-class Japanese flyweight fighters in Yasuhiro Urushitani and Kosuke Suzuki which got him a well-deserved shot at the flyweight title.

Eustaquio, on the other, hand is 3-1 inside the One FC cage. He won his debut against highly dangerous BJJ black belt Alex Silva back in February of 2012. He then faced Andrew Leone in Manila at One FC 9 but lost against the scrappy grappler. After that, the very technical Eustaquio piled up two consecutive unanimous victories against Muay Thai wrecking machine Eugene Toquero and the dangerous and explosive Kentaro Watanabe.

This is going to be a very technical match between two clever fighters. The Brazilian might have a huge advantage on the ground, but Eustaquio has remarkable ground defense, which he exhibited against both Leone and Silva. This match deserves to top the card.

“Rise of the Kingdom” will also feature an explosive match up between two sturdy lightweights as UFC and Strikeforce vet Caros Fodor locks horns with Golden Glory’s Vincent Latoel.

Fodor is known to many as a guy who fears nothing inside the cage. He is willing to trade blows with his opponents and he is always pursuing the finish be it on the ground or standing up. He has a much-improved overall mixed martial arts game and undeniable punching power.

Fodor is 2-1 in One FC and he looks for a second-straight win when he faces an artistic striker in Vincent Latoel.

Latoel has had some up and downs in his MMA career over the years, but it didn’t stop him from moving forward in reaching his goal. He is 3-3 in his last six fights and is more motivated than ever to get him in the mix with some of the best lightweights in One FC.

Latoel mixes his striking very well and utilizes knees and elbows in the clinch position. It is evident that his weakness is his ground game, but it is the part of his game that he is really focused on in training. His ground skills will be tested anew as Fodor will surely use his wrestling and try to take the fight to where Latoel feels uncomfortable the most.

Added into One FC 20 card in Cambodia is an interesting fight between Arnaud “The Game” Lepont and Suasday Chau.

Lepont is a remarkable fighter with a solid BJJ expertise, but the French fighter who is now residing in Vietnam is on a disappointing 0-3 losing skid. He looks to get back to his winning ways when he welcomes Cambodia’s Suasday Chau.

Chau’s ground game is as identical as Lepont’s, for all of his four wins are coming via submission victories. He aims to display his grappling prowess when he meets Lepont on September 12th for his promotional debut.

Two of Evolve MMA’s top young prospects are looking to keep their team’s winning streak alive as 20-year-old Amir Khan meets a veteran of eight MMA fights in Jian Kai Chi, and Radeem Rahman meets his stiffest test to date against Sung Ming Yen.

One FC 20’s preliminary bouts are stacked with new Cambodian talents including an opening women’s match between Vy Srei Chai and Tharoth Sam. In the first ever one-night Featherweight Grand Prix, Cambodians Chan Reach, Chin Heng, Prak Chansin, and Chan Rothana will fight to determine which of them deserves to be Cambodia’s first champion.
