RIZIN 16 is less than a month away and two additional bouts have been confirmed.

Kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa will challenge Ahmed Ferradji for his ISKA featherweight world title at the Kobe World Memorial Hall on 2 June.

Ferradji won the title in May last year with a fourth round TKO victory over Yacin Moutacim of Belgium.

Nakukawa already holds an ISKA world title at bantamweight, in addition to his RIZIN world titles.

“I am honored to defend my belt in Japan against Tenshin Nasukawa,” Ferradji said.

“I can’t wait to perform in such a great stage as RIZIN,” Ferradji said via a statement.

Nasukawa added that he will be looking to dominate the Frenchman and deliver the most entertaining fight on the entire RIZIN 16 card.

RIZIN has also confirmed a kickboxing fight will take place at 63kg between Nasukawa’s teammate Daiju Shiratori and Osaka’s Hiroto Yamaguchi.

Other confirmed bouts inlude the RIZIN super atomweight championship bout between Ayaka Hamasaki vs Jinh Yu Frey, while Kanna Asakura meets Miyuu Yamamoto at 49kgs, while heavyweights Roque Martinez and Jake Heun will square off inside the RIZIN ring.
