Road Fighting Championship will set foot in Daegu, South Korea, for the first time on 8 September for ROAD FC 55.
Announced on Twitter early Tuesday, the Korean promotion has lined up newly minted featherweight champion Lee Jeong-Yeong to face Park Hae Jin.
Lee (6-1) won the title at ROAD FC 50 by defeating former champ Choi Mu-Gyeom via unanimous decision.
The two engaged in a very technical striking match. But it was Lee who dominated the on the ground to get the UD win.
Park has built a unblemished 7-0 record in MMA, competing exclusively with ROAD FC. Last September he locked in a first-round submission win over Evgeniy Ryazanov to extend his unbeaten run.
More details about the ROAD FC lineup are expected soon.
