Frankie Edgar and Chan Sung Jung both made weight on Friday morning for their UFC Busan main event on Saturday in Busan, Korea.
In the main event, former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar steps up on short notice to face “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung.
“It’s been way too long since I’ve fought in Korea, so I’m considering it my first fight in Korea,” Chan said earlier this week.
“Being able to headline as the main event is a great pleasure. At the workouts, apart from a numbered event, that was the greatest crowd I’ve ever seen.
“That’s when I realized that South Korea is great. I wanted to respond more to the crowd, but I heard Frankie was next in line so I quickly made my way out.”
All 26 fighters were one point at Friday’s weigh-ins. The ceremonial weigh-ins took place later in in the day.
