Kara-France (19-7) is no stranger to fighting in China, having cut his teeth with regional promotions like Kunlun and WLF W.A.R.S. before making the jump to the UFC.
De la Rosa, who brings an 11-2 record, will move down to flyweight for the bout after having three of his four UFC bouts at bantamweight.
UFC Shenzhen is quickly gathering steam.
Earlier this week Li Jingliang vs. Elizeu Zaleski was hinted for the 31 August card, in addition to a women’s flyweight match between Wu Yanan and Luana Carolina.
UFC Fight Night 157 will take place in Shenzhen on August 31. In the night’s main event, rising strawweight contender Zhang Weili will challenge Jessica Andrade for the UFC’s women’s strawweight title.
