Song Kenan vs. Derrick Krantz among new bouts added to UFC Shenzhen

Song Kenan booked for UFC Shenzhen.

A handful of new fights have been confirmed ahead of UFC Fight Night Shenzhen on Saturday, 31 August.

Song “The Assassin” Kenan (14-5) is set to return to face Texan Derrick “D-Rock” Krantz (24-11) in front of his home crowd in a three round welterweight bout.

Several new debutants have been added to the lineup.

South Korean middleweight Park Jun Yong (10-3) will make his debut against Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez (6-1) from Woodland, USA. Hernandez snapped a six-fight win streak earlier this year when he lost to Markus Perez in his UFC debut.

Brazilian fighters Karol Rosa (11-3) will square off with Lara Procopio (6-0) in a women’s bantamweight match-up.

UFC has tapped ONE Warrior Series’ Jung Da Un (7-5), who makes his debut with the promotion against Russian fighter Saparbek Safarov (9-2).

Leading fans into the five round championship bout between UFC strawweight champion Jessica Andrade and Zhang Weili, will be the co-main bout between Li “The Leech” Jingliang and Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos.
