After falling short in his UFC debut, Su Mudaerji will return to the Octagon on 31 August to face fellow bantamweight Andre Soukhamthath at UFC Shenzhen.
Mudaerji (11-4) made his promotional debut in Beijing last November, taking a fight against Louis Smolka on just two weeks notice.
The gamble did not pay off for the 23-year-old Tibetan, who was submitted midway through the second round.
His next opponent Soukhamthath brings a rollercoaster record of 13-7, with a win-loss record going back to 2017.
“The Asian Sensation” however does have more Octagon experience, having made the walk five times already.
UFC Fight Night 157 takes place in Shenzhen on August 31.
In the night’s main event, rising strawweight contender Zhang Weili will challenge Jessica Andrade for the UFC’s women’s strawweight title.
Kai Kara-France is also set to meet American Mark De La Rosa in a flyweight bout.
