Chan Sung Jung, aka The Korean Zombie, returned in spectacular fashion early Sunday, blasting his way to a first round TKO finish in the main event of UFC Greenville.
The Korean Zombie and Renato Moicano collided in the main event and did not disappoint.
Soon after the opening bell Zombie dropped Moicano with a perfectly-timed right hook and immediately went in for the finish. He jumped on the Brazilian’s back and went to work until the referee was forced to jump in.

With the win, Chan improves his record to 15-5 and will likely have UFC matchmakers plotting something big for the Korean featherweight. His first round TKO also saw him pick up a Performance of the Night bonus.
“I was prepared for a five-round-fight, but I’m beyond happy to be eligible for a title shot,” Chan said in a post-fight interview.
“It’s becoming closer and closer. I never plan my fights to be exciting, but they usually turn out like that.”
Earlier in the evening, Ashley Yoder defeated Japan’s Syuri Kondo by unanimous decision.
