UFC has added two additional shows to its roster of events in Asia, with Singapore and South Korea announced for later this year.

The Lion City will again play host as UFC Fight Night Singapore takes over Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday, 26 October.

The promotion will then mark its first return to South Korea since 2015, with a UFC Fight Night set for Busan on Saturday, 21 December.

Singapore marks the second of three events in a multi-year partnership with Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Sports Hub.

“Singapore is an important market for UFC as we look to strengthen our business internationally and continue to grow the sport of MMA in Asia,” said Kevin Chang, UFC Senior VP, Asia Pacific.

The addition of Busan and Singapore means fans in Asia will have three events in 2019, after UFC Shenzhen was announced in May.

Details about the lineup will be announced in coming weeks.
