Wu Yanan and Luana Carolina will settle unfinished business when the UFC makes its debut in Shenzhen on 31 August.
The women’s flyweight match was originally booked for UFC 237 in Rio de Janeiro on 12 May, but Wu dropped out with an injury. Carolina went on to face and defeat Priscila Cachoeira via unanimous decision.
The pair are now set to meet inside the Universiade Sports Centre when UFC makes its debut in the Southern Chinese city.
Wu (10-2) has gone 1-1 with the UFC, losing her debut fight in Shanghai, but clawed her way back to winning ways in Beijing, taking out Lauren Mueller in the first round.
UFC Fight Night 157 will take place in Shenzhen on August 31. In the night’s main event, rising strawweight contender Zhang Weili will challenge Jessica Andrade for the UFC’s women’s strawweight title.
