REBEL has announced its second postponement for REBEL FC 9. The card was originally set to take place on 11 August, then postponed during fight week to 7 September. The promotion does not have a new date or venue lined up as of now.

The Singapore-based REBEL cited “clash of schedules with government activities in Beijing” as the reason for the cancellation of next weekend’s event. REBEL will continue to work with Beijing authorities to keep the event in that city.

The promoter’s representative confirmed that the card will not change. Two title bouts are set: welterweight champion Wang Sai will face Adriano Balby and Wang Yayong will meet Shuhei Sakano for the bantamweight strap.

Also on the card are Hacran Dias and Bigfoot versus Liu Wenbo, and TUF China winner Ning Guangyou will return after two years post-UFC against long time UFC alum Takeya Mizugaki, former Cage Force champion and WEC contender.
