UFC Fight Night 79 in Seoul, South Korea is going down today, November 28th, 2015, at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena to a sold out crowd of 15,000. This event is headlined by a welterweight bout between Benson Henderson and Jorge Masvidal and includes other notable fighters such as “Stun Gun” Kim Dong-Hyun and “Sexyama” Choo Sung-Hoon will competing on this historic night.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is entering the Korean market for the first time and bringing a four fight main card alongside seven preliminary matches which comprises fighters from China, Mexico, Columbia, USA, Brazil and South Korea.

Marco Antonio Beltran (Mexico) vs Ning Guangyou (China)

Round 1 – Beltran misses with many kicks. Both work forward with combos but nothing landing. Ning hits Beltran in the cup and action stops. When they did get back to it Ning just chased Beltran around the cage. In the end of the round Ning did go down in a scramble.

Round 2 – They exchange and Ning drops down for a double leg and ends up tripping Beltran to take him down. They both throw punches from their positions but the limited action makes the ref stand them up. For the rest of the round they chase each other.

Round 3 – They dance just like the previous rounds and then Beltran kicks and Ning catches. He runs Beltran into the cage and clinches. They break and Beltran lands a few knees and punches. Ning clinches again and punches against the fence. The round ends with a flurry but nothing special.

Result: Marco Antonio Beltran wins via Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29)
