Hong Kong-based MMA promotion JUST MMA has announced its first-ever signing, snapping-up undefeated 20-year-old lightweight Andy Tang.
Tang is the first name to be announced for the JUST MMA 4, set for the Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai on 9 November.
The Hong Kong prospect has gone 2-0 in his MMA career. He made his MMA debut last September with a first round submission win over Kim Shi Choi at Just MMA 3.
At Way Of The Dragon Championships in Taiwan in January he defeated Jun Hong Ye via unanimous decision.
Tang currently trains at Hybrid Fitness under head coach Alberto Mina.
“To become a MMA fighter in Hong Kong is a challenge in itself,” Tang said.
“There aren’t too many professional Hong Kong athletes and even fewer MMA fighters, so I will make sure to take this opportunity seriously.”
