All fighters on point for RIZIN 16

Jinh Yu Frey meets Ayaka Hamasaki for the RIZIN super atomweight title.

RIZIN 16 will take place Sunday 2 June at the Kobe World Memorial Hall. All fighters made weight and 14 fights are officially set to go.

After three and a half years, RIZIN makes its way to the Kansai region for the first time at the Kobe World Memorial Hall.

“This is our first time hosting an event in the Kansai region, and to be honest, we were very concerned on how we were going to be received,” RIZIN chairman Sakakibara admitted.

“But reality was that the arena seats sold out in two days after going on sale. We are truly grateful to the passionate fans in the Kansai area,” he added.

RIZIN 16 will stream LIVE on FITE TV. Two kickboxing bouts will start from 1:20 pm as the show’s opening fights.
