The UFC has announced Ham Seo-Hee’s next match will be in Adelaide, Australia at UFC Fight Night 65 on May 10, 2015 against Bec Rawlings. Headlinging the event will be Mark Hunt versus Stipe Miocic.

Former DEEP Jewels Champion Ham made a rapid-fire debut with just a 5-week turnaround from her last title defense when she took on Joanne Calderwood, another women’s strawweight contender. The fight went into deep waters of the third round, and while Ham stayed in the pocket which her much lengthier rival, Calderwood was able to use her reach advantage on Ham quite effectively.

The result broke Ham’s 6-fight win streak, but she got her Octagon initiation as a trial by fire and came out proving she is one of the fighters to watch come up in the UFC. Her next opponent, Bec Rawlings, is already a veteran of the big leagues, having started out her international career with a whopping 5-round title shot against Carla Esparza at Invicta. Rawlings fought twice more in the promotion, splitting results, before landing her spot on the first women’s TUF.

On the UFC TUF Finale card, Rawlings lost the decision to Heather Clark. She’ll be looking to rebound in fashion when she takes on Ham on her home turf, the first time Rawlings has fought in Australia since 2012. She’ll bring a bevy of striking skills to Ham, so the fight should be a fun scrap. Rawlings and Ham couldn’t be further apart in the personalities department, so expect Rawlings to hype the fight in spectacular fashion as Ham shuns the limelight.

In the main 5-round event, Mark Hunt meets Stipe Miocic in a battle of the heavyweight division’s elite. Hunt comes into the fight on the back of an interesting 2014 in which he was on the giving and then receiving end of Fight of the Night accolades over Roy Nelson and then under Fabricio Verdum.

Miocic also comes into this match with a Fight of the Night performance against former heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos. Miocic is ranked fourth and Hunt is right behind him. With a fight on home turf, Hunt will certainly have the crowd behind him as he aims to leapfrog back into title contention.

Australians will feature heavily on the card, as expected. TUF Smashes winner Robert Whittaker will face Brad Tavares. Anthony Perosh meets Sean O’Connell at light heavyweight tilt. Jake Matthews gets his shot in the big stage against James Vic.

TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia also gets a run through with Australian teammates Brendan O’Reilly and Vik Grujic meeting at welterweight.

In another straw weight woman’s match, Australia’s prospect Alex Chambers will meet Hawaii’s prospect Kailin Curran.

The final bout announced is New Zealand’s Dylan Andrews versus England’s Bradley Scott at middleweight
