ROAD FC 21 adds Kim Soo-Chul vs Wagner Campos, Shinji Sasaki vs “Armbar” Kim

ROAD FC kicks of 2015 with a double title main event for ROAD FC 21 on February 1, 2015. Jo Nam-Jin rematches Song Min-Jong for the Flyweight strap, and Choi Mu-Gyeom gets challenger Seo Doo-Won at Featherweight.

The full card has been released, and phenom Kim Soo-Chul will be back in action in his home country against TUF Brazil veteran Wagner Campos. A mega-match between grapplers Kim Chang-Hyun and Shinji Sasaki is also slated.

Kim Soo-Chul and Campos presents an interesting match up between two well-rounded fighters, however Kim is arguably the one on the upswing in this match. He’s already proved he can finish black belts and tough wrestlers. Campos, a black belt himself with a lot of competition history, should not be taken lightly. He has a vast amount of experience in MMA. While he’s come up short in his recent career, Campos is exciting and will bring the fight to Kim.

“Armbar” Kim had a teetering couple of years off the back of an incredible long career, which he got back on track by finishing Kim Seok-Mo in his last fight with a submission. If he’s gained back his confidence, this fight with Sasaki should be a really fun grappling affair. Both guys will want the fight to go to the ground, and Sasaki works well off his back so he won’t be in danger if he ends up there.
